My name is Shravan Kumar. I live in Ranchi. I am 55 years old. My wife who is a school teacher filed a false 498A case against me on frivolous grounds in 2011. I was arrested after my wife bribed the police and had to spend a few days in jail custody. Finally, I came to know about Save Indian Family-Jharkhand, with guidance and help of SIF- Jharkhand I could file for my bail and finally got my bail from Judicial Commissioner court.
Once the trial of 498A began, with guidance and support of SIF members I could properly face the trial and do proper cross-examination of my wife and her witnesses. Finally, by God’s grace, I was acquitted in the 498A case. I am thankful to SIF-Jharkhand for help and support in my fight against 498A and all help given by them.
